Bar length, thickness and coating affect the wrapper dimensions. During packing trials, check sticking to the film, crumbs entering the sealing area, ease of opening and code readability. Do not select moisture and oxygen barriers from film thickness alone; assess supplier data alongside storage trials with the product. Test the individual wrap, retail multipack and shipping case with actual bars, including checks for crushing and breakage.
