Agree the manufacturing scope

Confirm the approved recipe, target order quantity, packaging specification and delivery plan in writing. Agree responsibility for label copy, artwork and sample approval before production.

Compare quotations on the same basis

When comparing unit prices, align the recipe target, net weight, packaging type, order quantity and delivery scope. Check separately whether sample development, printed packaging, outer cases and freight are included. The minimum manufacturing quantity may differ from the minimum order for printed packaging; confirm both together. Agree the approval steps for the first order and subsequent repeat orders in advance so that costs and schedules can be compared meaningfully.

Product profile and target market

Create chewy snack bars with dates, apricots or other fruits. Develop fruit flavor, fibrous texture and portion size together.

From individual wrap to shipping case

Select individual flow-wrap for the product’s moisture and oxygen sensitivity. Check seals, net weight, batch code, barcode and multipack layout for the sales channel.
