Agree responsibility for label copy, artwork and sample approval before production. ## Compare quotations on the same basis When comparing unit prices, align the recipe target, net weight, packaging type, order quantity and delivery scope. Check separately whether sample development, printed packaging, outer cases and freight are included. The minimum manufacturing quantity may differ from the minimum order for printed packaging; confirm both together. Agree the approval steps for the first order and subsequent repeat orders in advance so that costs and schedules can be compared meaningfully. ## Product profile and market Develop a balanced spread that puts almond’s gentle flavor first. Skin-on or blanched almonds influence color, texture and the intended eating experience. ## From jar to shipping case Select glass or food-grade plastic jars, closures, seals and fill weight together. Plan label space, barcodes, batch codes and cases around the sales channel. ## No added sugar A no added sugar recipe needs a new balance of sweetness, bulk and texture. The term does not mean sugar-free; naturally occurring sugars may remain. Verify ingredients, nutrition analysis and target-market labeling requirements against the final product. ### What changes in a no added sugar project? Removing sugar from a standard recipe alone is not enough to preserve the same flavor and texture. Evaluate sweetness, solids balance and aftertaste in separate trials, and identify any alternative ingredients clearly. This option should not automatically be treated as low calorie or suitable for every consumer group.
